Can’t skate, can write. That’s the realisation that led to the creation of FiveOnFive. It’s a gutsy move, but one we hope will pay off. With participation in the sport growing and league attendances levels hitting record highs, our aim is to be the independent voice of ice hockey in the United Kingdom by providing the nation’s most passionate fanbase with honest insights and updates about the greatest game on earth.
Our mission is to cover every level of British hockey, from Elite League action to the women’s game, academy prospects, para hockey, and even the occasional beer league legend. We may not reach them all as often as we’d like, but we hope the content we produce shows our passion for the sport and our determination to help it grow. As part of this commitment we promise to never use the words ‘fans are all saying the same thing’ in anything we publish.
